Welcome to Fjaka Cafe/Bar, a delightful gem nestled in the charming town of Vela Luka, Croatia. This café showcases the very essence of local culture, making it a must-visit spot for anyone looking to savor authentic Croatian life while enjoying a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

The beauty of Fjaka lies not only in its inviting ambiance but also in its incredible value for money. Patrons have raved about the inviting prices, especially compared to the tourist traps nearby. As noted by local reviewer Ivica Lazić, visitors will find "normal, reasonable prices for Croatia," where a glass of wine costs around 6 Kuna and a small beer a mere 10 Kuna. These prices ensure that you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon without breaking the bank.

The café is famed for its rich, velvety cappuccinos that the regulars can't get enough of, deliciously complemented by the stunning view of the harbor. Imagine the gentle lap of waves against the shore as you sip your drink and gaze at the bustling local life unfolding around you—a truly immersive experience.

While Fjaka may not offer a full dining menu, its charm lies in the social experience it provides. There's something special about stopping by for a quick coffee after wandering the streets of Vela Luka, as highlighted by customer Magdalena Pietrasz, who appreciated not just the coffee but the opportunity to "observe local life." This café stands as a social hub, a place where locals gather to unwind, chat, and enjoy each other's company, all the while welcoming visitors with warm smiles and outstanding service.

The attentive waitstaff here shine, as noted in Niko H's review praising the "great service" amidst a beautiful locale. Fjaka is more than just a café; it’s an experience that embodies the relaxed Croatian culture and the inviting spirit of Vela Luka.

If you find yourself in this picturesque town, make sure to stop by Fjaka Cafe/Bar. It’s an authentic stop that offers a slice of local life and an extraordinary viewpoint to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the harbor.

Lovely Place, wine really cheap, great Cappuccino. Wine costs about 6 Kuna, small beer about 10 Kuna. Sadly you cannot eat anything there. The service is really great and you have the great view to the harbor.
